|Terms of Hire
If you are in any doubt as to the meaning of the following, Blackdown Photo Booths should be consulted immediately.
"You", “your”, “yours” and "the client" are references to any company or individual requesting the services of Blackdown Photo Booths
"We", "us" and “our” are references to Blackdown Photo Booths
A non-refundable deposit of £100.00 is required to secure your booking. Any remaining balance is due in full 30 days prior to your event.
Any amendment/extension to operation on the day is solely at the discretion of the operator. Extended operating periods or additional idle time will be charged at £50.00 per half hour or part thereof and will be due in full before operation commences.
BOOKING AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
Any request to amend or cancel your booking must be received in writing. Amendments must be received at least 30 days prior to the original date and will be subject to availability. Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the event will receive a refund of any monies paid less the £100.00 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations received within 30 days prior to the event will receive no refund and payment will be due in full.
VENUE – ACCESS & SITING OF EQUIPMENT
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that permission has been obtained from the venue to use the Photo Booth and that the space and power required (as detailed in your booking confirmation) are both suitable and available.
Where necessary, the client is responsible for ensuring that suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to and during the event.
Any equipment will be set up in one location, as agreed on arrival, and will not be moved once unloaded. We reserve the right to refuse delivery if our operator deems the venue or site unsuitable or if you have failed to notify us prior to the event of any delivery obstructions, such as stairs or excessive loading distances from our vehicle to the installation site. In such a case, no refund will be given and the full hire fee will be due.
We reserve the right to cease operation and remove any equipment from the site immediately if our operator is subject to any abuse or threatening behaviour or if it is considered that the client or the venue, or their respective employees or guests conduct endangers the safety of others or the equipment in any way. In such a case, no refund will be given and the full hire fee will be due.
OPTIONAL LIVE EMAIL & FACEBOOK UPLOADING
If selected as part of your package, live Email, Facebook and other social media options require a stable internet connection with a minimum upload speed of 1MB/s. It is your responsibility to supply this connection. Please be aware that Email and Facebook servers are sometimes affected by technical issues or service disruptions which are beyond our control and therefore we cannot be held responsible for.
COPYRIGHT & USE OF PHOTOS & VIDEOS
In supplying our equipment, it is agreed by you and your guests that we are granted the right and permission to the copyright of any photos or videos taken. Photos and videos taken may be used to assist in the promotion of our company. This may include printed matter as well as online images and videos. We will not use any picture or video that we think may cause offence or embarrassment and will immediately remove any picture or video from our website upon request.
Furthermore you and your guests hereby release Blackdown Photo Booths indefinitely from any liability arising from the taking of any picture or video and any subsequent processing or publication including, without limitation, any claims for libel or invasion of privacy.
EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
We cannot be held responsible or liable for any circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event, these may include but are not limited to severe weather, traffic delays, breakdown of our vehicles or sickness. In such a case any monies received for the service will be refunded in full.
In the event of equipment failure where photos can still be taken but not printed, they will be printed within 3 working days and forwarded accordingly with no refund due. In the event of equipment failure where no photos can be taken, a refund will be issued on a pro rata basis and limited to a maximum of any monies received.
LOSS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT
The client assumes complete responsibility for any loss of or damage to our equipment (other than fair wear and tear) caused by Theft , Fire, Flood, Accidental Damage or misuse of the equipment by the client or the venue, or their respective employees or guests.
Blackdown Photo Booths liability of any kind shall be limited to a maximum of any monies received for the service. We shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss of income, damage or loss to property, personal injury or claims from third parties.
